Cefpodoxime tablet and suspension (marketed as Mospodox in Nigeria) are important medications in the country for the treatment of various bacterial infections. Cefpodoxime is an antibiotic belonging to the class of cephalosporins
SIDE EFFECT
- diarrhea;
- nausea, stomach pain;
- headache;
- vaginal itching or discharge; or.
- diaper rash in an infant using cefpodoxime.
PRECAUTION
This medication contains cefpodoxime. Do not take Vantin if you are
allergic to cefpodoxime or any ingredients contained in this drug.
Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
