Description
Ciprofloxacin eye drops and eye ointment are used to treat infections of the eye, such as bacterial conjunctivitis. Ciprofloxacin eye drops is also used to treat corneal ulcers of the eye. Ciprofloxacin belongs to a group of medicines called fluoroquinolone antibiotics. It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of bacterial infections . It has some side effects such as Abnormal increase in eosinophil,Acute allergic reactions,Abdominal pain,Abnormally rapid heartbeat.
Ciprofloxacin may cause some people to become dizzy, lightheaded, drowsy, or less alert than they are normally. Do not drive or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how this medicine affects you. If these reactions are especially bothersome, check with your doctor.
