Description
ALOMIDEis indicated in the treatment of non-infectious allergic conjunctivitis (vernal conjunctivitis, giant papillary conjunctivitis, and allergic-atopic conjunctivitis). The etiologic factors are unknown, but common airborne allergens and contact lenses have been implicated.
side effects of Alomide include:
- eye burning/stinging/discomfort/irritation.
- eye itching.
- eye redness or pain.
- feeling as if something is in the eye.
- dry nose.
- sneezing.
- headache.
- dizziness.
PRECAUTION
To apply eye drops, wash your hands first. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface. It is best to not wear contact lenses while using this medication. Tilt your head back, look upward, and pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch.
