Postinor-2 is an emergency contraceptive only. Postinor-2 is not intended as a regular method of contraception. It is used to prevent pregnancy when taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse. It is estimated that Postinor-2 will prevent 85% of expected pregnancies

PRECAUTION

Take 2 tablets as soon as possible, preferably within 12 hours of unprotected sex, but not later than 72 hours (3 days). You should not take more than 4 tablets each month. It is not recommended to take within the same menses cycle as it may affect your period.
