Description
Uses:
BETALOC 25MG is used to treat high blood pressure, angina pectoris (chest pain), and heart failure. It is also used to treat arrhythmias or palpitations, and to prevent heart attacks and migraines.
Precaution:
People who have asthma and certain other lung problems should avoid taking a beta-blocker such as metoprolol, as it can cause breathing difficulty.
Side Effects:
- Headache, tiredness, drowsiness, weakness, or lack of energy;
- Aches and pains, painful joints;
- Nausea (feeling sick), vomiting;
- Stomach upset, diarrhoea or constipation, weight gain;
- Dry mouth, changes in taste sensation;
- Difficulty sleeping, nightmares;
- Mood changes.
