WHAT IS XARELTO® (rivaroxaban)? XARELTO® is a prescription medicine used to: reduce the risk of stroke and blood clots in adults who have a medical condition called atrial fibrillation that is not caused by a heart valve problem.
SIDE EFFECTS
- Back pain.
- bleeding gums.
- bloody stools.
- bowel or bladder dysfunction.
- burning, crawling, itching, numbness, prickling, pins and needles, or tingling feelings.
- coughing up blood.
- difficulty with breathing or swallowing.
- dizziness.
PRECAUTION
You may bleed or bruise more easily while you are using this medicine. Stay away from rough sports or other situations where you could be bruised, cut, or injured. Be careful when using sharp objects, including razors and fingernail clippers. Avoid nose picking and forceful nose blowing
