They're used to treat eye inflammation by reducing swelling, redness and irritation. These can be symptoms of eye injuries, surgery, or damage caused by severe allergies or chemicals. It's also safe to use dexamethasone eye drops in the ear but only when you've been advised to do so by a doctor.
SIDE EFFECT
Stinging/redness in the eye, widened pupils, or blurred vision may occur.
PRECAUTION
It may make your vision blurred if you use them with contact lenses. Shake the bottle well before use and remove the lid. If you're using a single-use dropper, twist off the tip. Make sure the dropper does not touch anything, including your eye, eyelashes, eyelid or your skin.
